The VNR’s of Estonia and Finland: joint seminar of national Commissions

Spring 2020

Finnish and Estonian Commissions exchanged insights in an informal meeting. The meeting was held virtually as a seminar in Microsoft Teams platform.

The seminar focused on the Voluntary National Reviews and the progress of the implementation of the 2030 Agenda. Both countries, Finland and Estonia, submit their VNRs to the UN in 2020. Civil society groups and youth groups presented their role in the VNR process. VLR work of cities and regions, and co-operation with businesses was also discussed.
