Hopeful Future -Writing Contest!

Join the Hopeful future writing competition!

What does the world and future of your dreams look like? If you could change something, what would it be? What kind of nature and society would surround you and how would people around you act?

The Hopeful future competition is organized as part of the 30th anniversary of the Finnish National Commission on Sustainable Development. The purpose of the competition is to inspire people of all ages around Finland to write and reflect on their relationship with the surrounding society, other people and nature and to boldly dream about the future.

The style of the articles is free – you can participate with a poem, story or any other text. The youngest participants can also send drawings or comics. The competition will be open from 1 July to 31 October 2023 and the winners will be announced in November 2023.
