"The State and Future of Sustainable Development" event 5.10.2023

The annual event "The State and Future of Sustainable Development” will take place on Thursday 5.10.2023 at 9.30-15 in Maijansali, Helsinki Central Library Oodi.

The event is part of the 30th anniversary of the Finnish National Commission on Sustainable Development and the European Sustainable Development Week. The theme of the event is a hopeful future and science-based decision-making.

The event will consist of a seminar (9:30-12:30) and workshops (13:30-15:00). The seminar consists of a future-oriented panel discussion, an award ceremony for the best society’s commitments for sustainable development in 2022, and “30-year journey of the National Commission on Sustainable Development”, where former Secretaries-General and Chairs will present memories along the way.
