Prime Minister Marin to speak with EU leaders

Prime Minister Sanna Marin will attend a video meeting of EU leaders on Thursday 20 May. 

The purpose of the meeting is to prepare for the special meeting of the European Council taking place in Brussels on 24 and 25 May, which will focus on the EU’s climate action, the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and the Union’s relations with Russia and the United Kingdom. 

Today’s small group session, convened by President of the European Council Charles Michel, will also be attended by the Prime Ministers of Malta and Greece and the Presidents of Bulgaria and Lithuania. President Michel is organising similar meetings for other groups of countries.
